The mosaic mural is progressing! I was able to mortar the “community-involved” portion of the mural

During the Little Stones Project the public was invited over 3 days to place a piece of broken tile into the black background area of the piece. The response to be a part of this community-involved project was awesome! Some people who placed a piece at the opening Friday Art Walk, came back during the weekend activities to place more pieces! I hope being a part of this project inspired them to be a “little stone” in a mosaic of larger social movements.
