“Orange Reflective” – Glass on glass mosaic, 4” x 7”

I was studying color theory and mosaic laying patterns in this series of glass-on-glass mosaic vases.  The color orange is associated with the meanings of joy, warmth, heat, sunshine, creativity, fun, and enjoyment.  I used various shades of orange glass including some with iridescence along with a classic mosaic laying pattern to radiate happiness, calm, and warmth on the surrounding walls from the light of the candles.
